Kate is originally from Findlay, Ohio, where she grew up with many pets including a dog, cats, gerbils and guinea pigs. Kate has always enjoyed caring for animals, and she pursued this passion by attending the Veterinary Technology program at the University of Cincinnati. After graduating in 2020, Kate moved to Indiana to work at Purdue University Veterinary Teaching Hospital as a small and large animal anesthesia technician. After gaining experience in the university setting, she became a member of the Parkside team in 2022. She enjoys meeting clients and helping them strengthen the human-animal bond with their pets. In her free time, Kate enjoys gardening, hiking, furniture restoration, antiquing, and caring for her cat Yeti!
