Pet Grooming

Parkside Animal Hospital is very excited to now offer grooming services for both canine and felines. We take grooming appointments Monday - Friday for drop off. Our groomers have a combined 14 years of experience and both are graduates of the only state accredited grooming school in Indiana.

Does your pet’s SHEDDING drive you crazy?

Our groomers offer a shedding treatment, which when done on a regular basis, will reduce hair loss by up to 50%. The treatment is a four step process which entails a topical treatment applied during the bath, then the coat is blown with a high velocity dryer and the pet is rinsed and dried. The remaining undercoat is removed with a special tool.

We use a state of the art bathing system which combines a constant supply of freshwater, shampoo and air to effectively clean your pet. The hydro-therapeutic massage also stimulates blood flood to the skin. The groomers will use medicated shampoos for pets with skin issues. Our shampoos are pH balanced and all natural. We also have seasonal bows and bandanas! All pets examined by our hospital staff before grooming. We also offer nail grinding for all pets. Nails that have been ground using a high speed dremel tool are shorter, smoother (no rough edges) and a more comfortable experience for the pet.
